Ants hard at work.

This little pond had thousands of tiny frogs and tadpoles. If you look closely, there's a little stream of tadpoles between the patches of algae.

9.5 loop; Parked on Bolinas-Fairfax Road on a decent-sized lot on the side of the road; enough room for maybe a dozen cars. Pine Mountain Road, Oat Hill Road, Old Vee Road, Kent Pump
Road (passed Little Carson Trail, went to the end of Kent Pump Road, then turned back to get onto) Little Carson Trail, Oat Hill Road, Pine Mountain Road.

2.6 mile out and back.
Parking on this road is very limited. It's a shorter hike to see the cascades, compared to parking at Rock Springs, but it's risky.

Parked on Cascade Drive, a narrow residential road. Very limited parking.
1.2 mile out and back; Cascade Fire Road, High Water Trail, Cascade Fire Road, Cascade Falls Trail, reverse directions.
