9/3/12; Attempted to go hiking to Fallen Leaf Lake.  I used some GPS coordinates that I got off the web, which was a bad idea.  It took us near the North end of the lake, so we tried getting to the lake from there, but managed only to get to part by Taylor Creek and the floating logs further along the trail.  We didn't want to hike any further, so we head back to the car and tried driving along the Eastern side to see if we could get a view, but had no such luck as the road was narrow and lakeside residential.

Mount Diablo State Park, 8/11/12 - 8/12/12

Shortest camping trip ever!  Arrived at the campsite at 6:30pm Saturday, and left around 9:30am Sunday.  Camped out at the Juniper site to catch the Perseid Meteor Shower.  We saw a few shooting stars, but only manage to catch a couple on film.


This guy was crawling on the picnic table.  It was not itsy-bitsy.
