Silver Lake East Camping Trip, 9/21/12 - 9/23/12
9/21/12. Left home after noon to drive up to the campground, so that we could start hiking early in the next morning.
9/22/12; 6.8 mile loop; Woods Lake, Round Top Lake, Round Top Summit, Winnemuca Lake, back to Woods Lake.
9/23/12; Fishing at Caples Lake. Score: C = 2, D = 0.

Tahoe, 8/31/12 - 9/3/12
Labor Day Weekend; stayed at the Grand Residences by Marriott.
Lake Aloha, 9/1/12
13.7 mile out and back hike to Lake Aloha. Started from Echo Lake trailhead.
Lower Blue Lake Fishing Trip, 9/2/12
9/3/12; Attempted to go hiking to Fallen Leaf Lake. I used some GPS coordinates that I got off the web, which was a bad idea. It took us near the North end of the lake, so we tried getting to the lake from there, but managed only to get to part by Taylor Creek and the floating logs further along the trail. We didn't want to hike any further, so we head back to the car and tried driving along the Eastern side to see if we could get a view, but had no such luck as the road was narrow and lakeside residential.
